Sidewalks
-TOWN HALL MEETING/FORUM-AUGUST 29-
A Town Hall Meeting/Forum was held Tuesday, August 29, 2023, beginning at 5:00 pm in the Pitts Center, 5377 N. Virginia Dare Trail, Southern Shores, NC 27949. The purpose of this forum was to solicit citizen input with regards to potential sidewalks/walking paths in the Town of Southern Shores.
A list of possible sidewalk/walking path locations can be found below.
All interested persons were invited to attend and provide public comment.
Council currently has the following priority list for future path segments:
1A NC 12 Triangle Park to E Dogwood Tr (currently in progress)
1B NC 12 E Dogwood Tr to 13th Ave
2A Hickory E Dogwood Tr to Hillcrest Dr
2B Hickory Hillcrest Dr to NC 12
