Permit Applications and General Information

ONLINE PERMIT SUBMISSIONS

The Town of Southern Shores Department of Planning and Code Enforcement would like to invite you to begin submitting permits online through our Citizenserve Access Portal.

The online portal will allow you to submit permit applications and view the status of your permits after they have been accepted. Inspection requests would still currently need to be called in to our office by calling 252-261-2394 ext 3 or email Permit Officer Marcey Baum.

In order to begin submitting permits online you will need to go to the following link and set up an account Here.

Once you log into your account for the first time we ask that you click on the link to ‘Update My Information’ and submit the most accurate and current information for yourself or your business including contractor licensing information as it appears on the state website.

We are excited about this new process and we are hopeful that it will prove to be efficient and timesaving for all involved. Your feedback as we implement this online portal will be very helpful.
