DARE COUNTY BOARD OF ELECTIONS

The mission of the Dare County Board of Elections is to provide fair, open, honest and professionally managed election services to our community. The Board of Elections has the responsibility for safeguarding the will of the people, protecting democracy, and for establishing fairness and equity for all in the process of self-governance. 

The Dare County Board of Elections ensures that elections are free, fair, accurate, convenient and accessible to all voters in Dare County. The Board of Elections is governed by a five-member board appointed by the North Carolina State Board of Elections.

POLLS ARE OPEN 6:30 AM TO 7:30 PM ON ELECTION DAY

The Pitts Center will be a Polling Place for the upcoming election. POLLS ARE OPEN 6:30 am TO 7:30 pm ON ELECTION DAY.
