Planning Board Meeting - July 20, 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Southern Shores Planning Board will meet on July 20, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. in the Pitts Center located at 5377 N. Virginia Dare Trl. The purpose of the meeting is for the Board, performing the duties of the Southern Shores Board of Adjustment, to hold an evidentiary hearing (limited to sworn, factual testimony) to consider VA-2026-02, a Variance application submitted by Ginene Gerdes to seek relief from the yard (setback) requirements in Town Code Section 36-202(d) for a shed on the property located at 132 Oyster Bed Ln. The application is available for public inspection at Town Hall at 5375 N. Virginia Dare Trl., Southern Shores, NC 27949 and can also be found on the Town’s website at https://www.southernshores-nc.gov/.
