PURPOSE OF A WIRELESS POLICY FOR SOUTHERN SHORES:
• Provide that Southern Shores property owners, residents, and visitors have high quality access to the full spectrum of wireless services and service providers.
• Create a level playing field for all wireless service providers to construct infrastructure and to compete for business within Southern Shores.
• Ensure that wireless infrastructure in Southern Shores is sited & constructed in a way that is:
• Safe for residents, especially adjacent property owners,
• Effective in enabling a full spectrum of high quality wireless services for all residents, and
• Respectful of the aesthetic character of Southern Shores.
