Pat Forrester, Permit Officer: Pat provides the administrative support for the Department and issues building permits directly.  She maintains databases and permit files, schedules appointments for the inspectors, assists citizens in researching property information and flood insurance requirements, and GIS mapping. She is also the NFIP Community Rating System Coordinator, a CAMA Local Permit Officer for Minor CAMA permits and conducts limited Town Zoning Ordinance enforcement. Wes Haskett, Town Planner/Code Enforcement Officer  

Wes joined the staff November 1, 2010, filling a critical role in town government. Wes is a graduate of East Carolina University with a degree in urban and regional planning. Wes serves as the town planner and assists with code enforcement for the Town. whaskett@southernshores-nc.gov
